Curatorship, workshops, book design and projects development

Born as a laboratory for artists' books, the Balter project has recently transformed into EDO = Edizioni d'Ottobre: a dynamic idea for in-depth study of visual matters intersects with a curator service for long-term photography projects and artist book design.

Maè is the next project for EDO:

An incredible archive in southern Italy... Coming Soon!

A je Burrnesh is the first book by Paola Favoino and the second design and concept work for EDO.

Paola crossed the Albanian territories of the Burrnesh with her heart and with her gaze, questioning the concepts of limits and identity. Together we have transformed her anthropological and emotional journey into a dense and rich artist's book.

Published in 250 copies as self-published, with the support of Edo at curatorship; design and preparation for printing, as well as distribution and presentation, the book is available at
